Tito Sotto on Kiko Pangilinan running against him for VP: “To each his own”

Senate President Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto expressed his honest thoughts and opinions when he was asked about his reaction regarding Sen. Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan running against him for vice presidency in the upcoming 2022 elections.

It can be recalled that Sen. Kiko’s wife, Megastar Sharon Cuneta is the niece of Sen. Tito as his wife, actress Helen Gamboa is the sister of Sharon’s late mother.

In a virtual interview with TV host Karen Davila, she asked Sen. Tito, “Sharon has never asked you or did they asked you before Sen. Tito decided to run?”

“No, they did not.” Sen. Tito simply answered.

“How do you frankly feel about this?” Karen asked.

“Well, to each his own… That question would better be asked, my wife and my children. They have a different perspective. As far as I am concerned, sa akin I brush it off. To them, it’s a big deal…” Sen. Tito shared.

“Why is it a big deal to the family, to your wife and the kids?” Karen quipped.

“I hope you don’t mind, but you better ask them…” Sen. Tito laughingly answered.

Sen. Tito also shared that he doesn’t mind if his relatives do not support him for the upcoming 2022 elections.

“No it doesn’t, it does not at all. I would be bothered if it’s Vic Sotto or Joey De Leon.” Sen. Tito laughingly answered.
