Kim Chiu on leadership in crisis: “Tao muna bago ang sariling agenda.”

Actress Kim Chiu shared her take on how leaders should be in times of crisis. Kim posted an article from Forbes magazine with the title “What Do Countries With The Best Coronavirus Responses Have In Common? Women Leaders.”

The article featured strategies of leaders in fighting the dreaded virus, leaders like Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Iceland Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Finland Prime Minister Sanna Marin, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, and Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen ng Denmark.

On her Instagram Story post, Kim said that if she would be given a choice – she prefers that her taxes will be used for Education and Health.

“@SonaALL welfare ng tao ang iniisip mahirap man, middle class man or mayaman man. mga tao muna bago ang sariling agenda.

Hep! Before kayo mag bad comment, this is just my opinion as a TAX payer and isang mamamayan na nalulungkot sa nangyayari sa ating bayan.

Bayaran na nanaman ng Monthly tax, ITR and more. Sana may option kung saan mo ilalagay ang ibabayad mo. If I have a choice, EDUCATION AND HEALTH fund. Kung may ganun man.” said Kim.
